International Conference ''Value Chains for broad-based Development”

Promoting value chains (VC) has become an important field of economic cooperation. After several years of implementing value chain promotion projects it is time to take stock: Are the efforts actually contributing to broad-based poverty reduction? The conference is supposed to further the conceptual progress of the VC promotion approach responding to this and other challenges. There are a number of critical points to be discussed.
